Farmers market trip today to the @ferrybuilding Did the cliched thing and bought a bunch of flowers #sweetpeas for my apartment.
Final day was Sunday in LA. I actually woke up late so had breakfast @thelinehotel They have a beautiful restaurant called #openaire next to the pool So pretty Next was a metro ride to #highlandpark and some record shopping @gimmerecords and @the_artform_studio Then back to LA and a long wait @losangelesairport as flight was delayed ( why @delta ? Might be nice to tell people what is going on! ). I did watch the sunset and the #bloodmooneclipse
First day in LA. I walked a lot. Went to the fashion district, visited @foxbloodshop and then stopped and got my fav, a fruit cup filled to the brim. Seeing the taco trucks always makes me want to move to LA. And a stop at #bodegalouie is otherworldly.Dinner with my fav person @niconography at @hereslookingatyoula The food was amazing. We tried the Uni, the duck, the burrata and the octopus. The company as usual great. I had the Sunday Errands to drink.
Guess who is cat sitting this adorable sweetie for three weeks. She made herself quite at home instantly. #elegance #siamese #kittysitting

My day today involved a ton of walking! Breakfast @tartinemanufactory (I had the omelette) while @gregoryadamson had the divine french toast. Then a walk around Valencia Street, many stops! Lots of popping in and out of stores, and a stop @dandelionchocolate for hot chocolate with fresh marshmallows. A ferry ride across the bay to @squarepieguys in Oakland, then Bart home. So nice having a friend visit!
My serious face. Up to early to fly to LA for #cruelworldfestival But got my hat, packed my parasol and copious amounts of sunscreen.

Things that made me happy this week. The huge moon! The strawberry moon was so bright. Second night of it, just amazed by it. Sat up near Grace Cathedral on Saturday and at tacos from @tahonamercado.sf so good!! Then today went to the new park @franciscoparksf and it is lovely. The views, the garden and the history.

Went to a celebration of life for my friend Pat today. He showed me such kindness and care. When I needed contracting work done for the building he was the man. But, more than that. He was kind, nice and could talk! A classic old school Californian with talk takes, and a love of shooting the shit. He constantly invited me to his place to see the ‘pirates cove’ he had built, with a treehouse, hot tub and multiple smokers and grills. RIP Pat!
Yesterday was wonderful. I had breakfast @alchemist_project delicious coffee ️ Then @niconography picked me up. A quick stop for #califoniadonuts Then a super hot @cruelworldfest #cruelworldfestival2022 (note parasol in back it was invaluable I did not get sun 🌞) A few photos only as I tried to stay in the show and not pull out phone at all. @trstmusic @pilofficial And a brief snippet of @thechurch_band who blew me away. Full moon at the end All in all I saw: #sextile, #coldcave, #45grave, #tr/st, #pil, #thechurch, #pschedelicfurs, #berlin and #blondie It was pretty epic. Lots of water was drunk and lots of sunscreen applied.
