I missed doing a lot of things last week due to my back being so painful, no Dresden Dolls, no Halloween dress-up, no going to see Mojave 3, all very sad. But, I did go to the Doctor and I am on muscle relaxers and percocet, but no improvement in the condition. The doctor did X-rays to rule out broken bones, and tumors, and a test to check for blood clots and a diabetic test. All negative. No-one has any idea what is causing the pain, neither the chiropractor or doctor. Though I was told it is unlikely to be serious.

Work has been fun, sort of, as I am doped up. I just ignore most everything except blatant stupidity i.e. the guy yesterday who took the record out the cover, and sleeve and then put his fingers all over it, I calmly went up to him and asked him not to touch the record with his hands, and he was furious, muttered under his breathe at me and left. And oh yes, the people who come to little five points to stare at the weirdos and we stare at them as they are so alien, families of 5 or 6 with repulsive kids and wanting to know where to buy “sexy costumes” and you recoil in horror at the thought of them wearing a little bo-peep outfit……..

Did anybody see the New York Times article on ‘sub-compacts’? They featured my two favourite cars: the mini and smart car! I was so excited to actually read the smart car would be coming to the USA in 2008, or so.

On another unrelated note, does anyone know or can recommend a financial planner and an accountant?
